Food and wine tourism: international strategies and actions compared

Panel organized in scientific collaboration with Adutei, Associazione Delegati Ufficiali del Turismo Estero in Italia (The Association of Official Delegates of Foreign Tourism in Italy).

Guests: Slovenian Tourist Board, Turespana and VisitDenmark.

The importance of food and wine as a driving force for tourism is increasing. Destinations are developing strategies and related actions to take advantage of this opportunity, working on their strengths (restaurants, products or the vocation of the territories) to create an offer of related tourism products and coherent promotion.

We will be talking about this issue with the tourist boards of Denmark, Slovenia and Spain.

Through the story of their respective strategies, we will highlight ideas, visions and stimuli that can be replicated even in small destinations.
