“Great Italian Destinations for Sustainable Tourism”: a virtuous model of cooperation and development

The cities of Florence, Milan, Naples, Rome and Venice will share the stage, with the presentation of a series of synergistic interventions aimed at encouraging a sustainable use of Italian tourist destinations that enjoy great international recognition and attractiveness. The network is part of the Development and Cohesion Plan of the Ministry of Tourism, providing an effective contribution to the country’s economic recovery and to the development of an increasingly resilient, sustainable, innovative and digital tourism supply chain.

The five Italian cities will discuss the development of shared strategies, but they will also present some good practices and successful case histories which could be applied to other destinations as well.
