The climate is changing, how prepared is Tourism?

Unfortunately, the trends speak for themselves: in the coming decades, global temperatures could rise by more than 1.5° and, with them, also the frequency of extreme events such as rising sea levels, floods and torrential rains, storms, melting glaciers, megafires, etc.

Some destinations are already experiencing the effects of these changes and are facing the ongoing changes by trying to mitigate them (reforestation, restoration of natural habitats…) and to adapt to them; others proceed as always with fatalism, sometimes resignation and, often, recklessness.

Experts on climate, architecture, adaptation and destinations will be discussing and comparing the technologies that exist and are already in use with those that are being experimented and are desirable.
