Athanasios Karalopoulos works as a Policy Officer for DG GROW of the European Commission (Unit G3: Digital Transformation of Industry), involved in horizontal and sector-specific policy files in the areas of EU data strategy, data interoperability & data standardization and the data pillar of the transition pathways for the digital transformation of industrial ecosystems.
Athanasios has also worked for the Commission proposed Regulation for Short-Term Rentals.
