After graduating in law and gaining some experience in a company, she joined the Italian General Confederation of Industry in Florence where, among other things, she dealt with the development of agencies in the hotel sector. After two years in Federturismo she became director of the newly-established National Union of Italian Hotels.
She dealt with the growth and consolidation of the association which later took the name of Confindustria Alberghi (General Confederation of the Hotel Industry).
Since 2012, after the merger with the association of hotel companies operating in Italy, she has been Director of the new Italian General Confederation of the Hotel Industry, which today represents almost all the hotel chains operating in the country and a few thousand independent operators characterized by great vitality and entrepreneurial dynamism.
