Carmen Bizzarri, PhD, is the winner of the competition for associate professor at the European University of Rome and has qualified as associate professor in the M/GGR-02 sector.
She is currently winner of the type A researcher competition in economic geography and has been coordinator of the Master’s in Management of Tourism Organizations at the European University of Rome.
Her research is aimed at analyzing the geo-economic and environmental dynamics of sustainable tourism activities. She has published articles in national and international journals, and is the author of two monographs and editor of several books.
She is currently treasurer of Sistur and member of the operational committee of the Greal research center and of the scientific committee of the International Forum of Gran Sasso, BTO and ITEG.
She is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the new series “Tourism Studies in the Mediterranean Region” and of the Science Publishing Group, and she is also reviewer for numerous international journals
