We will start from the data of the Observatory on Digital Sustainability regarding how the Italians perceive the issues of digital sustainability connected to the agrifood and tourism supply chains, to then develop a reasoning on the weight that digital innovation can have in promoting the achievement of sustainability objectives. The development of digital technologies is redefining value chains, distribution processes, sales models and dynamics of consumption. This is associated with the way that consumers are more and more attentive to using sustainable products and services. The role and responsibility of public and private operators, from strategy to communication, are issues that are becoming more and more crucial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Promoting the development of sustainable supply chains is one of the challenges that both the agri-food and tourism sectors are called upon to come to terms with. However, in order to seize all the opportunities of the ongoing digital transformation process, it is essential to understand the phenomenon of digital sustainability in the way Italians perceive it in relation to the dynamics of the world of communication and information, which assumes a particularly important function with respect to these issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
