Brief CV: Giovanna Maria Dimitri is a post-doc research assistant (assegnista di ricerca) at the University of Siena under the supervision of Prof. Mauro Barni, working in the VIPP group.
Previously she completed a PhD in Computer Science, obtained at the University of Cambridge (UK), under the supervision of Prof Pietro Liò, with the dissertation: “Multilayer network methodologies for brain data analysis and modelling”.
Moreover she graduated in July 2015 in the MPhil in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, with distinction under the supervision of Prof. Pietro Liò with a dissertation on “Predicting Drugs Side Effects from a Combination of Chemical and Biological profiles”.
Before that she completed and the Bachelor’s degree and my master in 2014 in Computer and Automation Engineering at the University of Siena (both 110/110 cum laude) under the supervision of Prof. Michelangelo Diligenti.
She is the lecturer of the Business Intelligence course, part of the Master in Management Engineering, of the University of Siena, since the academic year 2019/2020.
